Does anyone know of a contact app that allows fine-tuned control over what contacts (and data) get shared when you allow an app to access your contacts?

It could work something like: when you first allow contacts, it gets nothing, but then you open the contacts app and allow the app to have access to certain information about certain types of contacts.

@josias Yes I was also thinking about SoLiD (social linked data). My ideal distributed system is a one that is built on trust, instead of distrust. So you would start with some trusted connections, and you would also trust their connections. This way, you 'stand in' for the trustworthiness of your own trusted connections. My idea is that you would have an ever-growing yay-list (allow) instead of an ever growing boo-list (deny).

This network of trust would have a lot of use cases :)
